Choose a workflow before choosing a bot
A comparison is most useful when it starts with the work your moderators and members need done. List the welcome messages, moderation actions, support flow, scheduled posts, and role rules that matter to your server. Then test one workflow at a time in a separate server before changing a live community.
Build Discord Bots is designed around hosted, configurable modules on your own bot. Check the module page for the permissions, plan availability, and settings that apply to the specific feature you need; availability in one module does not imply the same limits in another. See the module directory for current feature details.
If you are moving from another tool, document the channels, roles, messages, and moderation records you need to keep. Settings and historical data do not automatically transfer. Avoid running overlapping welcome, moderation, or automation rules while you test a replacement.
Use the current pricing page for plan details before committing to a new workflow. The individual comparisons below link the relevant setup guidance and dated competitor documentation so you can recheck claims at the source. See current plans and limits.
